DBM A-Flex provides a bone void filler for defects in the acetabular
wall and may be used with morselized allograft or autograft.
Unlike wire mesh products and bone cement, Grafton DBM A-Flex provides an osteoinductive1
and osteoconductive bone allograft. An extension of the Grafton DBM Flex family,
A-Flex utilizes Osteotech’s patented demineralized bone fiber technology,
which promotes new bone formation while providing a framework for new bone
growth. Fiber based DBM products have been shown to be more osteoconductive
than particulate DBM products.2 Only Grafton DBM has product forms with demineralized
bone fibers.
