The
Graftech® Difference
Graftech® Cervical Dowels are threaded to dramatically
increase resistance to graft expulsion and improve graft stability.
Graftech® Cervical Dowels are produced from select, dense
cancellous tissue, providing a strong, porous structure
that encourages bony ingrowth.
Dense, cancellous bone allows immediate red blood cell saturation
for osteogenesis.
Infusion
of Grafton® DBM Gel into the porous structure of the Graftech®
Cervical Dowel creates an osteoinductive graft 1.
Graftech®
Cervical Dowel are available in three diameters, 11mm, 13mm,
and 15mm, each with a 12mm length.

Cervical
Dowel Compressive Strength

|
COMPRESSIVE
STRENGTH:
The Graftech®
Cervical Dowel has a compressive strength similar to Cloward
dowels and other forms of cervical allografts.2

|
Cervical
Dowel Push-Out Resistance

|
PUSH-OUT
RESISTANCE
The
Graftech® Cervical Dowel is significantly more resistant
to graft push-out than Cloward allografts.2

Testimonial
"Combining
a dense cancellous threaded allograft bone dowel with simple
precision instruments to tap a Cloward type discectomy opening
permits a snug graft construct without mallet tamping. The significantly
greater resistance to graft expulsion has given me the confidence
to do away with post-operative bracing for single level anterior
fusions."
